A Day off from work/daycare!

Mommy & Julia got to stay home from work on Monday, October 12th because it was Columbus day! Boy, did we have lots of fun! Not only was it sooo cold out and we had a thick frost but tropical storm Julia came through the livingroom that very same day! It was so fun to play all day, Julia thought she'd stay up all but a half our of it!

Julia carries around this little bucket, usually on her arm like a purse, and she always has her cell phone in it...or her Kitty from her Auntie!

LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER!

I didn't realize what Julia picks up on so quickly! This is how I turn on/off the TV I push the button on the TV and then Turn on the Reciever for the volume with my toe! LOL (only here she's trying to turn on the cable box!)

LOL there's the right box! I know the thing should come on now!!

We love to put toys into the bumbo seat....

...and then try to sit on them...

And we dance....

Tubbie Time

Our little princess has learned how to say tub-tub-tub...as well as "go" everytime she wants to go somewhere and walk, she holds her hand up for us to take it and she wants to walk. So tonight Daddy had to "Go" and walk her up the stairs to the bathroom for tub-tub-tub time. She was quite a ham tonight! I love it!

She finds it sooo funny that she's wearing a shirt-hat! lol

Fall Discovery!

Julia and I got outside today to check out the leaves in the neighbor's yard! We didn't get to play out there for long since it was only about 45 degrees and windy! COLD! She was seriously checking out the leaves and wanted to share them with Mommy! Aww!

Julia took her first unassisted steps on Tuesday, October 6th! Her 11 month birthday!! Although we are proud of her achieving milestones, I want to freeze time right now she's growing up too fast!! Once I figure out how to post a video I have one of her walking for now he's a few snapshots!

Brush Your TOOFERS!

Julia thought it was great that we bought her a new tooth brush with real tooth paste instead of brushing her teeth with one of those finger brushes! She's got 4 healthy teeth already and 2 more that we can see are on their way real soon!!

Grammie Forever in our Hearts: 3/19/31-9/29/09

Well I am saddened to say that Grammie has passed away. She will be missed greatly however we are greatful that she didn't suffer for long with the cancer. We have many fond memories to remember her by and will hold her in our hearts forever. I am so glad that we were able to make the trip to FL so that we could see her before she passed and Julia could visit with her Gigi. We are not looking forward to the funeral services where we will say our goodbyes. But Grammie told me that she lived a long happy life and she was ready to go to be with Papa and her brothers oh how she missed them. I know she's happy now and in no more pain. But it doesn't make it any easier for her loved ones left behind. Grammie, we love you and you will be missed!!
