Julia took her first unassisted steps on Tuesday, October 6th! Her 11 month birthday!! Although we are proud of her achieving milestones, I want to freeze time right now she's growing up too fast!! Once I figure out how to post a video I have one of her walking for now he's a few snapshots!

Julia thought it was great that we bought her a new tooth brush with real tooth paste instead of brushing her teeth with one of those finger brushes! She's got 4 healthy teeth already and 2 more that we can see are on their way real soon!!

Grammie Forever in our Hearts: 3/19/31-9/29/09

Well I am saddened to say that Grammie has passed away. She will be missed greatly however we are greatful that she didn't suffer for long with the cancer. We have many fond memories to remember her by and will hold her in our hearts forever. I am so glad that we were able to make the trip to FL so that we could see her before she passed and Julia could visit with her Gigi. We are not looking forward to the funeral services where we will say our goodbyes. But Grammie told me that she lived a long happy life and she was ready to go to be with Papa and her brothers oh how she missed them. I know she's happy now and in no more pain. But it doesn't make it any easier for her loved ones left behind. Grammie, we love you and you will be missed!!

Julia's 1st trip to Florida!

Our little family made our first trip to FLsince Julia's been born! Although I was paraniod and terrified about the flight it turned out to not be too bad! Of course I had my little princess to distract me from the flight as she's a wiggle worm and wanted to be on the move!
This trip was a bittersweet trip, we were so excited see Mom, Dad and Grammie and enjoy the hot Florida sun!! But Grammie was diagnosed with cancer and she really wanted to spend some time with Julia. Watching her with Julia was priceless and a memory I will hold in my heart forever! We are praying that Grammie continues to not have any pain with this horible disease so that she is able to enjoy the rest of her life with us!!
Mom's work family had an almost 1 birthday party for Julia that was very thoughtful! They even canceled BINGO for Julia's birthday party where she was the Princess for the day! It was so fun!  As you will note from the pictures Julia has a big part of her heart dedicated for her papa too!

We're back...

So it's been a long time since we've updated the blog! Life with an infant is crazy but we love it and wouldn't change it for second! We are looking forward to keeping up with our blog as the seasons are changing we should have some more time this fall! But a lot has happened in the past 6 months since the last time this blog was updated so please enjoy the pictures and posts to come! Don't forget to leave a message!
