A Visit to the Vet

The Funny of the day:
Julia and I had to take the kittens to the vet for their 1st check-ups and boy, did we have an experience, as you will see in the video below: How does she know that they saying is that dr.s are quacks! LOL

  HAHA, kids really do say the funniest things! Not only did our vet "quack" but they also informed us that Oreo is um.... Ore-ette! This whole time we thought they were both males, NOPE, we have a male and a female! We thought "she" had boy parts because of how furry she is according to the vet! We made an appointment ASAP for them both to be fixed so we dont have any kittens running around here!

I'm Back!

As most of you know, we've had a busy year, but we are so blessed to say the least! With all of our moving around a lot has changed, but we love how it feels the same... it feels like home! I am looking forward to lots of blogging ahead! I have so many thoughts running through my head of projects that I want to do and activities and I cant wait to share them all with you!

Update:

Jon is now working at Verizon Wireless and this is his "DREAM JOB" he loves working with the electronics and cell phones are definitely his thing! It's great to finally see him happy in his job!

Julia is growing so fast and learning so much! Right now she is potty training and doing great! Only wearing a diaper to nap time and to bed at night, but not even really using it....it's just there as Mama's security blanket to know she wont wake up in a wet bed! Her new thing is counting in Spanish as well as English (which she's done for months now) What? Is she really only 21 months old!? She's such a good girl, although she keeps us busy we wouldn't have it any other way!

I am loving being home and back into our routine and my old job! God has been so good to us! Although I miss my family terribly and would love to live close to them, my life is here, in Aroostook County, Maine. I am dabbling back into my photography again! It's so much fun to capture moments behind the camera! <3

Happy New Year!

Julia and I decided new years day was as good day as any to break out the crayons...and go sledding since it was nice and warm for a winter day in Maine! We had so much fun spending the day together!! LOVE days off!!

We had lots of fun decorating the Christmas tree!! So fun to watch Julia get excited about the decorations! Now maybe next year we can have some on the bottom half of the tree with out little hands coming over and taking them off!! ;) :)

Our Princess Turns ONE!!!

It's hard to belive it's been one whole year ago that Julia Marie was born into this world. I sit back and wonder how it could possibly have been a year yet! as November neared us, the change in seasons the crisp fall air and colorful leaves on the trees reminded me of the week and morning that Julia was born. Mom would ask me every few hours if I had any pains yet? (pertaining to labor) We were all getting restless and anxious for Julia's arrival, going for long walks, cleaning the house, Sandy took me for a long ride on the bumpy back roads in Aroostook county.  I went for ANOTHER walk around the mall hoping to make some progress and go into labor. Julia of course was on her own time and not ready to come out without a LOT of coaxing! So with our bags packed Jon took me to my doctors appointment on November 6th (3 days after my due date) hoping to get induced, At 10:00AM and 5cm's, my Dr broke my water and the fun began! Contractions started coming on quickly and painfully! Mom and Sandy and Jon were in the delivery room with me as we waited for our Princess to arrive! After 2 types of pain medications, almost 14 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing my Dr. decided that Julia's head was just to big to fit I was preped and brought down to the OR for a C-Section. Up until the day of delivery that was my ultimate fear! I was scared to death of having to have a C-Section and my fear was becoming a reality but after praying and putting complete trust in God and my wonderful Doctor I felt completely calm going into the OR, the nurses and anistseologysts were amazing and actually kept us laughing! (is this good while your abdomen is being cut open? hehe) They were even gracious enough to take photos for us while we were in there! Jon watched the whole thing as he was holding my hand! I kept asking him to sit down before he passed out, but he insisted that he was fine and wanted to watch!! Before I knew it Julia Marie Ouellette was born 11:53pm weighing 10lbs and 22inches long! (NO WONDER why she didn't fit) She's the biggest miracle of my entire life and words can't express a mother's love for her baby! This year has been filled with such great happiness and each milestone she reaches makes me the proudest Mommy ever! I just dont want her to grow up too fast! I Love You Baby Girl!!

Julia was a cute little Lady Bug for Halloween, by now I am sure you saw the pictures on facebook but incase you haven't I've added them to my blog...as you all know it's been a while since I've updated the blog! Since it's winter now and Christmas will be here and gone soon I should be able to keep up!! We'll keep our fingers crossed!
